Operations and maintenance is a division within Peab Construction, and we are active in the ongoing maintenance of streets and squares, water and sewage, construction work, road maintenance, parks, and outdoor property management. In close collaboration with our customers, both large and small, we take care of the public outdoor environment for many people. We ensure that the country's residents and visitors can enjoy and safely navigate our outdoor environment and traffic. We have extensive experience in contracts that place high demands on service, quality, environment, and accessibility.

About the position

As a construction worker at Peab Operations and Maintenance, you will perform various types of construction work. 

The tasks are varied and consist of both planned and urgent work, such as:

•    Earth and water works, both in street and park environments.
•    Equipment installation
•    Cleaning and maintenance of green areas 

•    Minor service work
•    Some work may occur at night, and on-call duty is included in the role.

About you:
We are looking for someone who is trained as a construction worker, or alternatively, you have at least 3 years of experience in various construction projects. You should also be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

It is advantageous if you have experience in the maintenance of green areas and plantings, a C driver's license, and YKB.

As a person, you are motivated, driven, responsible, and meticulous in your work. As a construction worker, you should be able to perform various types of earth and utility work, both independently and as part of a team. Since the work is constantly changing, it requires you to be flexible, unpretentious, and adaptable to changing circumstances. The work is physically demanding and can be heavy at times. Always working with safety in focus is a given for you.
